A deadly armed attack on a teacher training centre in Cameroon’s Northwest Region has left a police officer dead and five teachers kidnapped, triggering a security operation to find the abducted educators. The attackers reportedly stormed the centre in Wum before opening fire on a police officer who attempted to stop them.
