A woman left distraught by the death of a one-year-old girl in a hot car in Sydney’s south-west says she witnessed a neighbour trying to revive the infant.
NSW Police said the toddler was found unresponsive in a vehicle on Marana Road at Earlwood at 5:35pm on Tuesday.
Emergency services were called to the scene after a member of the public saw the girl in a car.
Paramedics tried to resuscitate her but she couldn’t be saved. She was declared deceased at the scene.
