JAMB has postponed the Direct Entry aptitude test for 2024 candidates and will consider alternative criteria for admissions. They emphasized the use of Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), warning that admissions conducted outside CAPS are illegal. JAMB introduced CAPS in 2017 to automate admissions processes and stated that all admissions, including for various programs, must be processed exclusively through CAPS to be valid.
