An influx of extremely malnourished children have overwhelmed hospitals in northeastern Nigeria, where millions of infants are suffering from a lack of food. The crisis is not contained to Borno. In the northwest state of Zamfara, admissions at MSF inpatient centres surged by 30 per cent between March and April.
