On September 12, 2024, Nigerian Army troops successfully rescued 13 kidnapped students in Kaduna State after a fierce gun battle with terrorists in Chigbolu village. The rescued students include six males and seven females. The operation also resulted in the death of several insurgents, the capture of others, and the seizure of significant weapons and ammunition.
