Panic has gripped the Oko Polytechnic community in Anambra State after a three-storey private hostel housing students collapsed, leaving an undetermined number of occupants feared trapped beneath the rubble. The building, identified as Elite Five Star Lodge in Amokpala, Orumba North Local Government Area, reportedly caved in late Sunday night, triggering a desperate search and rescue effort as residents and students reported hearing cries for help from beneath the debris.
