15-Year-Old Shot by Former Boyfriend Inside Nueva Ecija Classroom
A 15-year-old female student is in critical condition after being shot in the neck by her 18-year-old ex-boyfriend inside a classroom in Barangay Rizal, Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija, on Wednesday morning.
Police said the suspect entered “without provocation,” drew a .22 caliber firearm, shot the affected student, and then turned the gun on himself. Both were rushed to a nearby hospital. The motive and the source of the firearm remain under investigation.
Authorities are coordinating with the school and parents to ensure safety, while crisis intervention services are being offered to affected students.
