In Bauchi State, 11,000 children are set to be vaccinated against various child killer diseases in 13 local government areas where routine immunization is either neglected or incomplete. This was announced by Dr. Rilwanu Mohammed, Executive Chairman of the Bauchi State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, during the launch of the 2024 African Vaccination Week. The initiative, themed ‘The Big Catch-up,’ is a collaboration between the Bauchi Field Office and the Bauchi State Ministry of Health, aiming to restore and strengthen essential immunization.
