Six Nigerian students from three secondary schools have received the Top in the World Outstanding Cambridge Learners Awards for the June and November 2023 Cambridge examination series. The awards, announced by Lucy Pearson, Nigeria’s British Council director, recognize achievements in English as a second language (speaking endorsement). Brookstone School, James Hope College in Lagos, and The Ambassadors Group of Schools produced winners such as Oluwademilade David, Omaghomi Sharon, Obodoechi Chiedozie, Favour Chinecherem, Fehintoluwa Erinayo, and Bamidele Sharon. Additionally, a total of 95 students from 37 British Council partner schools in Nigeria excelled in subjects like sociology, ICT, and business studies.
