‘That’s not my child’: Mother says bus monitor tried to give her wrong child… twice

< 1 min read

A mother was confused and upset after a bus monitor attempted to drop off the incorrect child at her home twice instead of her autistic son.

According to an account by Sarah Batista to local outlet WPRI, she received a terrifying phone call on Monday from the bus company who takes her autistic 3-year-old child to and from school every day.

“They stated they were at my door with my son and that nobody was answering,” Batista told the outlet. “I ran downstairs and nobody was there.”
