A former West Lyon, Iowa, softball coach is charged with sex crimes. Alexis Severson, 26, is charged with three counts of sexual exploitation by a school employee and one count of grooming. According to court documents, Severson is accused of grooming the affected child beginning in July of 2024. The affidavit states Severson enticed and seduced the affected child into a relationship that resulted in unlawful sex acts.
