England to Introduce Law Banning Smartphones in Schools to Protect Learning and Wellbeing

The planned legal restriction on smartphone use in schools across England marks a significant child safeguarding and development measure, as policymakers move to formalise phone-free learning environments aimed at reducing distractions, improving behaviour, and supporting children’s right to focused education and healthier social development.
