A Florida man known for portraying Santa Claus at community Christmas events has been arrested in a sweeping undercover operation targeting individuals accused of attempting to exploit children online. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said Thomas Hicks was among nearly 20 suspects taken into custody after allegedly communicating with undercover detectives posing as a teenager.
