Adamawa State Police Arrest Man for Alleged Sodomy of Four Children
The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested Habubakar Umar, a 22-year-old commercial tricyclist, for allegedly sodomizing four young boys aged between eight and nine.
According to a statement by police spokesperson SP Suleiman Nguroje, Umar was hired to transport the children to school but allegedly took advantage of the arrangement to commit the crime multiple times.
The arrest was made on May 14, 2025, following a complaint from the affected children’s parent. During interrogation, Umar confessed and blamed the devil for his actions.
Condemning the incident, Commissioner of Police Dankombo Morris assured that the case would be thoroughly investigated and swiftly prosecuted. He also urged parents to stay vigilant and report suspicious individuals.
