AI in the Classroom Helps Alpha School Student Learn Twice as Fast

A Texas student named Everest is gaining attention for how she is using artificial intelligence to accelerate her learning and chase big dreams.

Her family relocated so he could attend Alpha School, a program designed to let students advance at twice the pace of traditional classrooms.

Everest says AI plays a key role in her education by helping her solve difficult math problems, organize his day, and refine her writing, but emphasizes that students must still understand the material themselves.

The approach appears to be working. She and her teammates used AI to strengthen essays for a global competition, finishing 5th in the world. Everest can also recite every U.S. president in chronological order, a skill verified as accurate by ChatGPT.

Beyond academics, Everest is a decorated history enthusiast, proudly wearing medals from national competitions. Looking ahead, he says he hopes to become a talk-show host for children and eventually a politician.

For Everest, AI isn’t replacing learning; it’s helping her go farther, faster.
