Delightful Triplets with Special Needs Desperately Need a Family to Keep Them Together

An adoption charity in Reading, Parents And Children Together (PACT), has issued an urgent appeal to find a permanent home for three 16-month-old triplet sisters, emphasizing the importance of child protection, safeguarding, and family stability.

The sisters, two identical twins, Rose and Violet, who are registered blind, and their fraternal sister Lily, who is developing typically, have been together since birth. Keeping them united in a nurturing environment is a central safeguarding priority.

From a child protection perspective, maintaining sibling bonds is critical to emotional wellbeing, particularly for children with additional needs such as visual impairment. The charity stresses that the girls share a “strong and loving connection” and that separating them could have long-term emotional consequences.

Ensuring their placement in a family able to meet their developmental and emotional needs is essential to safeguarding their rights and wellbeing.

PACT has highlighted its commitment to supporting prospective adopters with comprehensive training, ongoing advice, therapeutic services, and access to an online resource hub. This level of support ensures that adopters are prepared to meet both the physical and emotional safeguarding needs of the triplets, providing a stable environment that protects them from potential harm and neglect.

The charity recognizes that adopting three siblings at once is a significant responsibility but underscores that carefully assessed and supported placements are in the best interest of the children. This case exemplifies how child protection and safeguarding go beyond immediate safety, ensuring continuity of care, family stability, and emotional security for vulnerable children with complex needs.

Families able to provide a loving, permanent home are urged to contact PACT to support the sisters’ right to grow up together safely and securely.
