Former West Virginia Teacher Admits to Sexual Assault of Underage Females; Teaching Certificate Permanently Revoked

A former West Virginia teacher, Leslie Lively, has been sentenced to prison for two counts of third-degree sexual assault. Lively, 52, admitted to having sex with two females under the age of consent. He received two 1-5 year sentences to run concurrently and was fined $1,000 for each count.

Lively was terminated from his teaching job last year, had his teaching certificate permanently revoked, and will have to register as a sex offender for life upon his release from prison. He must also serve 25 years of supervised release.
