Lagos Police Arrest Stepfather and Friend for Impregnating 14-Year-Old Girl

The Lagos State Police Command arrested a 38-year-old man, Samuel Alfred, in the Okokomaiko area for allegedly defiling his 14-year-old stepdaughter. He was apprehended alongside his friend, Ikechukwu, with whom he allegedly conspired to assault the teenager.
The affected child’s mother, Deborah, reported the incident to the police after discovering her daughter was nine months pregnant. During the investigation, it was revealed that both men had been having carnal knowledge of the child.
The case has been transferred to the Gender Unit at Ikeja for further investigation. The Lagos State Police Command spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident, and investigations are ongoing. Once the investigation is concluded, the case will be charged to court.
