NSCDC Nabs Teacher Over Molestation of 7-Year-Old Pupil in Osun
A 22-year-old teacher, Rufai Akorede, was arrested in Ilesa, Osun State, for allegedly molesting a seven-year-old pupil.
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) revealed that the teacher began abusing the affected child in 2024, culminating in two specific incidents where he reportedly molested her after school hours.
He was arraigned on March 26, 2025, pleaded not guilty, and has been remanded at the correctional center in Ilesa pending trial.
