One local teacher has just received a huge honor. Tiffany Barnes, aka Miss Tiff, from Wheeling Middle School, has just been named the 2026 West Virginia Teacher of the Year. She is a special education instructor, as well as a two-time Iraq War veteran, serving with the U.S. Army Military Police.
