Lynchburg City Schools asks Students to Return Inappropriate Book

< 1 min read

Lynchburg City Schools has requested that families return clear, drawstring bags given to elementary students on Enrollment Day. The bags, donated by the Virginia Education Foundation, included a book titled Free Speech Handbook: A Practical Framework for Understanding Our Free Speech Protections. The book, which may contain inappropriate content for young students, was distributed in error. The school division wants to review the bags and ensure their contents are suitable before redistributing them to students.
