Some parents in Niger State have handed over their children to the police after they allegedly killed a 10-year-old herder, Abubakar Lawal, and injured another during an attack in the Karaku community, Rafi Local Government Area. The Niger State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Wasiu Abiodun, confirmed the incident on Friday, describing it as a case of suspected culpable homicide. According to Abiodun, the attack occurred on August 11 when Lawal and nine-year-old boy were returning from grazing their sheep.
