St. Monica Catholic School in Creve Coeur, Missouri, will close at the end of the 2023-2024 school year due to declining enrollment, as announced by Archbishop Mitchell T. Rozanski. Only 120 students were enrolled for the upcoming year, with some grades having as few as three students. The Archbishop stated that maintaining the school would deplete key services and resources while requiring an unsustainable subsidy. The Archdiocese will assist faculty, staff, and families in transitioning to other Catholic schools. St. Monica School had been operating for over 100 years.
