School Bus Overturns on NJ Highway, Child Critically Injured

A school bus carrying 31 people overturned on the Garden State Parkway in Montvale, NJ, on Monday night, leaving 15 injured. A child is in critical condition, while 13 other children and the 44-year-old driver sustained minor injuries.
The bus veered off the road near milepost 170.5 and overturned, according to New Jersey State Police. Authorities transported 13 children to local hospitals. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the injured and their families during this difficult time,” said Montvale Mayor Mike Ghassali.
Gov. Phil Murphy acknowledged the crash near the James Gandolfini Service Area, with officials investigating the cause.
