10 Students and Driver Hospitalized After Louisville School Bus Crash

A school bus crash in Louisville, Kentucky, on Tuesday morning resulted in 11 people being taken to the hospital, including 10 students and the driver of the other vehicle involved.
According to the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD), the crash occurred around 8 a.m. at the intersection of Baxter Avenue, Chestnut Street, and East Jefferson Street. Police reported that a car was making a left turn but failed to yield to a Jefferson County Public Schools bus, which had the right of way.
At the time of the crash, 23 students were on the bus. Ten of them sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the car that collided with the bus was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
