Prince George’s County Public School System is undergoing a significant change by standardizing start times. Currently, there are over 20 different start times across the county, but starting in the 2024-2025 school year, all schools will adopt one of three start times: 7:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m., or 9:30 a.m. This adjustment will also impact dismissal times, aiming to improve punctuality for students.
