Two members of Ajayi Crowther University’s vigilance group were arrested for allegedly raping a female student of the institution in Oyo State. The university’s management, through its Public Relations Officer, Olufemi Atoyebi, announced the incident and stated that an internal panel of inquiry had been set up to investigate the matter, which occurred on May 9, 2024. The suspects were handed over to the police, and the university vowed to ensure severe punishment for anyone found guilty after a thorough investigation.
