To promote financial literacy among children and prepare young Nigerians to manage their finances, the Fintech company Schoolable, in collaboration with Parkway, has launched Little, a digital wallet. Little enables parents to give pocket money to their children through a seamless system, featuring a debit card for children and a mobile app for parents to monitor spending. At the Lagos unveiling, Angela Essien, COO of Schoolable, emphasized that Little aims to instill financial discipline by helping parents track their children’s spending habits. She stressed the importance of financial literacy for a reliable future, noting that many adults struggle with financial issues due to a lack of early education on good money habits.
