Actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, had his appeal denied by the Lagos Court of Appeal, upholding a previous ruling that sentenced him to five years in prison for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl, who was the foster daughter of comedian Princess. This decision affirms the judgment originally passed by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022.
