During its meeting on June 24, the Clayton County Board of Education announced several new appointments within the district:
- Zakaria Watson was appointed as principal of East Clayton Elementary School.
- Wendell Spann was named acting principal at Lee Street Elementary School.
- Tonisha Sullivan-Whitlow was appointed principal of Mt. Zion Elementary School.
- Emma Brandy was appointed at Unidos Dual Language Elementary School.
- Harold Dobbins was appointed principal of Forest Park Middle School.
- Sean Antonetti was appointed assistant principal at Morrow High School.
- Patricia Cain-McCrary was appointed assistant principal at Mundy’s Mill High School.
- Carrie Dean was appointed as the Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education coordinator.
- Shelia Garner was appointed as another CTAE coordinator.
- Rhonda Love was appointed as the Social Studies coordinator for secondary education.
