The Minister of State for Education, Dr. Yusuf Sununu, announced the release of the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) results for admissions into JSS1 of Federal Unity Colleges. Out of 71,291 registered candidates, 66,931 took the exam, with 4,360 absent. The highest score was 203 out of a possible 210, while the lowest score was one. Notably, 52 candidates, including two from Lagos State and 50 from Rivers State, were involved in exam malpractice. For the Federal Government Academy (FGA) exam, 2,336 candidates sat out of 2,649 registered, with scores ranging from 5 to 180. Admission criteria remain 60% merit-based, 30% state equality, and 10% based on exigency.
