Life Distance Child Abuse

Live-streamed abuse involves the real-time online streaming of abuse against individuals or groups, particularly focusing on child sexual abuse in this context. The abuse may be voluntarily self-produced, induced by coercion or grooming, or orchestrated by adults remotely. It can include material intended for sexual purposes or without such intent but accessed for such reasons. The extent of its occurrence is challenging to quantify but is believed to be increasing. Instances of live-streamed abuse, regardless of category, are treated as child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and are subject to removal from the internet by relevant hotlines.
