The Federal Government plans to recruit 3,500 new teaching staff for Federal Unity Colleges nationwide. This announcement was made by Dr. Yusuf Sununu, Minister of State for Education, during the National Stakeholders’ Forum on Senior Secondary Education. The forum, focused on improving secondary education for global competitiveness, highlighted the recruitment as a step towards enhancing educational quality. Additionally, Sununu mentioned ongoing training for over 1,000 staff in educational technology, the establishment of 53 vocational skills centers, and the approval for 50 new model schools to further support education reform.
