In her post on X, she shared images and a video of the incident, noting that her young child had eaten part of the meal before discovering the insect. Air India responded, expressing regret and stating they would investigate the matter. Savant also mentioned other unsanitary conditions on the flight, such as unclean seat pouches. This incident follows other recent reports of unsanitary airline meals, including a case where a live mouse emerged from a passenger’s meal on Scandinavian Airlines, leading to an emergency landing.
