The Kentucky Department of Education has released its test score data for the 2023-24 school year, showing improvements in some subjects while others stagnated or declined. Testing included grades three through eight, as well as high school sophomores and juniors. Proficient and distinguished scores in reading and mathematics increased across all grade levels, and writing scores improved at the middle and high school levels, with elementary scores remaining steady.
