Wilson County Schools in Tennessee has removed nearly 400 books from their library shelves, including works by renowned authors like Dr. Seuss and Toni Morrison. This list is now influencing other Tennessee school districts – Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools is considering using the same list for their review process, while Rutherford County Schools has already removed about 150 titles, with 51 of them matching Wilson County’s list. School board member Frances Rosales, who initiated the removals in Rutherford County, cited the Wilson County list and Book Looks website reviews as the basis for her decision.
