A Kansas kindergartener was accidentally left on a school bus for nearly six hours after falling asleep during his ride to school. The driver, from Hoxie School District, completed the route and drove home without checking the bus for passengers. The 5-year-old woke up alone and locked inside the bus hours later. The boy’s grandmother, Leta Meitl, expressed her anger, questioning how the incident could have happened, emphasizing the importance of properly counting children getting on and off the bus.
