Tiffian Truesdale, a Zebulon bus driver, is facing a felony charge of child abuse inflicting serious injury after allegedly breaking a 3-year-old’s leg while transporting the child from Durant Elementary to a daycare. Truesdale, employed by Student Transportation of America (STA), has been placed on leave since the incident was reported in September. STA emphasized its commitment to safety and adherence to high standards in its operations. Truesdale will appear in a Wake County courtroom on Tuesday.
