According to investigators, a 17-year-old girl was slashed in the face by a man on the 4 train on Dec. 17. Police said the incident happened at 4:30 p.m. when the teen hopped on the 4 train at the 161st Street station. That’s when they say a man approached her and slashed her on the left cheek. When they arrived at the 149th St—Grand Concourse station, the suspect ran off. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to be okay.
