A man has been charged after a juvenile disclosed incidents of sexual abuse that happened 10 years ago.
On Aug. 26, troopers with the Monongalia County detachment of the West Virginia State Police took part in a forensic interview at the Child Advocacy Center due to an investigation reported by child protective services, according to a criminal complaint.
In that interview, the juvenile disclosed that in 2014, Earl Villers, 29, of Burton, performed acts of sexual abuse and assault while the victim was “approximately 5-6 years of age,” troopers said.
