A 14-year-old boy was shot and killed in D.C. on Sunday afternoon, and three teens in a stolen car were arrested, including a 14-year-old accused of murder, authorities say.
Myron Smith was the victim, the Metropolitan Police Department said. He lived in Southwest.
Smith was with a group of people in the parking lot of a tobacco shop in the 4000 block of South Capitol Street SW when a white Kia Optima pulled into the lot at about 2:30 p.m. Three people jumped out and announced a robbery, police said. Smith ran toward his apartment building a block away.
