Four Dead, Including Three Children, in Suspected Food Poisoning in Katsina

A heartbreaking tragedy has struck Kaga Hassan Quarters in Magama Jibia, Katsina State, where four individuals, including three children, have died from suspected food poisoning.
According to verified reports by counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama, the deceased were identified as Hussaina Ayuba, Ahmed Ayuba, and Nana Ayuba, who all passed away while receiving treatment at Jibia General Hospital. A 12-year-old girl is currently recovering under medical supervision.
The Katsina State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of 20-year-old Fatima Abdulkadir, who allegedly prepared the spaghetti noodles believed to be linked to the poisoning. Two additional suspects have also been detained.
This incident has sent shockwaves through the Magama Jibia community, intensifying concerns about food safety, domestic risks, and public health surveillance in rural and suburban areas of northern Nigeria.
