Babcock University, Ilishan Remo, has expelled a student, following shocking revelations of serious misconduct. The student, initially declared missing by his mother, was later found to have snuck off campus in disguise without authorization.

Upon his return, he confessed to:

  • Engaging in “Yahoo Yahoo Plus” – internet fraud mixed with fetish rituals
  • Purchasing ritual black soap for N100,000 from a herbalist
  • Drug peddling, impersonation, and unauthorised financial dealings
  • Gambling with a N500,000 online loan
  • Selling personal property under false pretenses

The university said the student’s actions breached institutional policies and posed risks to community integrity.

Despite his mother’s initial public outcry accusing the school of negligence, Babcock clarified that the student deliberately absconded. The school has chosen not to file a libel suit due to the father’s responsible engagement.

The university emphasized its commitment to student safety and moral integrity, stating that the expulsion aligns with global best practices.
