Lagos students compete for scholarship

Students from 31 government-owned primary schools across Lagos State have been selected to compete in a scholarship scheme initiated by a non-governmental organisation, Sweet Thinkers. Speaking at the event held at the Ikeja Central Primary School Complex, Ikeja, the state capital, on Thursday, the Chairperson/Convener of the Sweethinkers Initiative, Olufunmilayo Olaniwun, stated that the project aimed to reward academic excellence among students from underprivileged backgrounds.
