A new tradition is returning ahead of the school year at Pilot Butte Middle School. Passersby may notice that rather than announcements, the reader board in front of the school is usually filled with jokes. The most recent one greeting students to start the school year is “Fortnite detox begins Wednesday. Time to return to IRL” (shorthand for In Real Life).
