Arizona education leaders proposed ending Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) language and policies in the state’s public education on Monday, but a vote on the issue was postponed. Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Horne and staff from the Department of Education made the proposal in front of the Arizona State Board of Education at 9 a.m.
