The grounds of New Era Girls Secondary School, Surulere, Lagos, came alive last week as members of the Class of 1985 returned to their alma mater to celebrate 40 years since graduation. Over three days, the alumnae combined celebration with impact, transforming what could have been a simple reunion into a remarkable act of legacy, mentorship, and service. They donated a fully renovated Physics laboratory for senior students and refurbished the Junior School Hall — both aimed at enhancing learning and strengthening community engagement within the school.
