Charges Dropped Against Boca Raton Mother in Child Sexual Abuse Case
In a dramatic turn of events, Walquiria Cassini, 40, has been fully exonerated of child sex abuse charges after prosecutors dismissed the case just two weeks before trial, citing new evidence that undermined the allegations.
Cassini, her fiancé Ryan Londono, and her adult son Matthew were arrested in March 2024 following claims of livestreamed abuse involving her children. The accusations, however, originated during a bitter custody dispute over Thanksgiving 2023, when Cassini’s ex-husband failed to return the children as promised.
Text messages and bodycam footage revealed Cassini’s frantic attempts to locate her children and cast doubt on the credibility of the allegations. A Marion County deputy even suggested the children might have been manipulated to stay with their father.
The arresting detective is now under internal investigation for fabricating evidence. Cassini’s attorneys say the FBI found no child exploitation material on any of her 56 devices, and the adult website account cited in the affidavit was never linked to her.
Despite the dismissal, Cassini remains without custody of her children and is preparing for a legal battle to reunite with them. She lost her job, friends, and reputation during the ordeal.
“I love my children, I would never, ever hurt them… I am innocent,” Cassini told WPTV in an emotional interview. “I’m willing to share the story if it helps somebody else in the future and prevents this from happening to anybody.”
Every child has the right to protection from manipulation and exploitation, and to maintain relationships with both parents when safe and appropriate. As outlined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, children should not be separated from their parents against their will, unless it is in their best interests.
