A Georgia mother is facing several charges, including two counts of murder, after she allegedly killed her 11-year-old daughter before attempting suicide. Shannen Grimes, 42, was found in her home Saturday morning with the body of her 11-year-old daughter, Genesis, according to Sandy Springs Police. “It’s a tough situation for everyone. It’s tough for the family. Our thoughts go out to the family, It’s tough for the community. It’s tough for the police officers that had to deal with this,” said Sandy Springs Police Sgt. Leon Millholland.
