Lagos State has warned schools against forcing parents and guardians to buy children’s textbooks, uniforms and stationery exclusively from the school or a particular supplier. The Lagos State Consumer Protection Agency (LASCOPA) issued the warning as schools prepare for the new academic session, reminding families of their consumer rights when purchasing school supplies.
